Plasper and its new TPE recycling strategy.
Tecni-Plasper S.L., compounds and masterbatch manufacturer for the processing industry and a national leader in recycling PVC, has successfully developed a research project of new recycling strategies thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The new industrial recycling process TPE can overcome existing technological limitations so far and ensures high efficiency and productivity in the processing of these materials.
This technological innovation has made it possible to develop a new generation of products is unprecedented in the industry, which has been achieved by replacing virgin polymers recycled TPE high value-added applications and advanced features.
This strategy involves the upgrading of waste which, today, are reused in applications with low added value, so that the project will result in improvements in the environmental impact and sustainability of the manufacturing of products based on compounds sector TPE.
The industrial recycling process developed and new products obtained mean therefore a strategic move that puts Plasper as technologically pioneers in the recycling of thermoplastic elastomers.
The R & D project “New TPE recycling strategy”, carried out by Plasper, has been funded by the funding mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA Grants).
